It’s Spring on Mission Street! The Shops at Mission Village will host a Community Block Party on Saturday, March 30 from 11AM to 3PM to benefit Make March Matter and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. The public will have the opportunity to shop, dine and engage with San Marino’s First Responders. There will be activities for children, adults and your favorite four-legged friends.
Enjoy food and fun with San Marino’s First Responders. Eat hot dogs with the San Marino Fire Department and enjoy ice cream with the San Marino Police Department. Take a photo on San Marino Fire Department’s “Old #1” and sign up for the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).
Drink lemonade with the Boy Scouts, all proceeds benefiting Make March Matter.
Pups will be on parade. The community is encouraged to bring their dog(s) dressed up in their cutest attire and enter our first annual “Pups on Parade” contest. First prize wins a gift basket fur fido! Registration will be at The Cub House Bike & Plant Shop, parade begins at 1:30PM.

Make March Matter is an annual fundraising campaign that brings local businesses and the community together in support of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and to raise awareness of children’s health. The goal is to raise $1 million during the month of March through fundraising efforts with companies across Southern California to support programs and services at CHLA that create hope and build healthier futures.
